Day 1: Arrival at Delhi

On arrival at Delhi International Airport the executives of Top India Tourism will welcome you and will assist you with the boarding and lodging to a pre booked hotel. Freshen up and relax. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 2: New Delhi

On the 2nd day of the tour, after morning breakfast indulge into sightseeing of some of the most captivating sites of New Delhi, the capital city of the country. Start with a visit to Qutub Minar, Red Fort, Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate and Jama Masjid. After a daylong sightseeing, enjoy a sumptuous dinner at your hotel room. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 3: Delhi – Jaipur

After morning breakfast the journey will begin with a drive to Jaipur, the Pink City. On arriving Jaipur check into a hotel. Rest and chill out for the day. Evening head towards some of the most remarkable spots of the city. Enjoy an elephant joy ride to Amber Fort and then take a route to Hawa Mahal, visit Nawab Sahab ki Haveli, Johri Bazar, the Royal Observatory and the City Palace. In the evening return to the hotel. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 4: Jaipur- Agra

After having breakfast get ready for taking a drive to Agra. En route we will visit Fatehpur Sikri, the very famous ghost city which once was the short lived capital of the Mughal Empire during the reign of Emperor Akbar. After witnessing this ancient memoir the journey will continue to Agra. Once you reach Agra, check in a hotel. Afternoon enjoy a finger licking lunch at your hotel room. In the evening experience the romanticism of the Taj Mahal, the living wonder and world renowned epitome of love. Visit the Itmad-ud-daula’s Tomb and the Red Fort. After day long excursion head back to the hotel. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 5: Agra- Varanasi-Sarnath

After morning breakfast depart from Agra to Varanasi. On arrival at Varanasi check in a hotel. Afternoon will be at leisure. Evening take a trip to Sarnath one of the most revered Buddhist places which is popular for its Dhamekh Stupa. It is an important Buddhist site to visit as this is the place where Lord Buddha had delivered his first sermon. After an enlightening trip to Sarnath, head back to the hotel. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 6: Varanasi

In the morning get ready to row across the holy Ganges, after enjoying a languid boat ride across its waters, we will hit the ancient streets of this spiritual city. Visit the Vishwanath Temple and the Bharat Mata Temple. Explore this holistic and simply engaging place. Drive to Bodhgaya at night.

Day 7: Bodhgaya-Patna

After breakfast we proceed to witness some of the most popular Buddhist destinations like Rajgir, the Buddhist place of great significance as Lord Buddha spent 12 crucial years of his life at this very place. Visit Sapta Pari Cave, Venevamas and the world famous Nalanda which was an ancient centre of Buddhist learning and education for centuries. After day long visits to the Buddhist sites, we drive to Vaishali at night.

Day 8: Vaishali-Kushinagar

After breakfast we proceed to explore Vaishali which is one of the Buddhist pilgrimage sites, most worshipped by the Buddhist pilgrims. This place carries significance as Lord Buddha had delivered his first sermon here. On your trip across Vaishali you will visit the majestic Ashoka pillar, Chaumukhi and the Lotus tank. After witnessing a trail of significant Buddhist sites, we will drive to Kushinagar .On arrival check in a hotel and enjoy an overnight stay.

Day 9: Kushinagar- Lumbini

After having morning breakfast take a route towards Lumbini which is another relevant Buddhist pilgrimage site. On arrival check in a hotel. This place will be important to visit as it is the place where Lord Buddha was born. Visit the numerous Buddhist temples situated here like the Mayadevi temple. Also visit Puskarini pond and remains of the Kapilavastu palace. After local sightseeing of Lumbini, overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 10: Lumbini- Balrampur-Lucknow

After breakfast take a trip to the very famous Ashoka Pillar. Visit the Mahadevi Temple and witness the Buddhist stupas and the ruins of ancient Buddhist monasteries. After lunch take a journey to Balrampur. On arrival go around the place for the sightseeing of the local areas. After all the sightseeing drive to Lucknow in the evening .On arrival at Lucknow ,check in a hotel and stay there for the night.

Day 11: Lucknow-Delhi

After morning breakfast on the second last day of your tour, take a stroll around the Lucknow city. Visit the Rumi Darwaza and the Bara Imambara. Go on a shopping spree and shop for chicken kurtas and savor its local specalities. After a daylong exploration depart for Delhi.

Day 12: Delhi-Departure

On your Arrival at the Delhi Airport your and the representatives of Top India Tourism will bid you a goodbye. You head home with all the memorable and fond memories lingering in your head. Your Buddhist Places in India Tour ends here.
