Kerala Ayurveda Temple Tour

Day 01: Kochi-Guruvayoor

On the first day of your Kerala Ayurveda Temple Tour, representatives of Top India Tourism will welcome you on arrival at Kochi International Airport. You will be lodged in an Ayurvedic resort by our representatives. We will see following attractions of Kochi this day:

Kochi Beach : The beautiful beach is a favorite haunt of tourists, merry makers and picnickers.

Ayurvedic Massage and Spa : There are some good Ayurvedic massage centers close to Kochi beach where you can enjoy Ayurvedic massage, herbal tea and food.

Santhanagopala-Krishnaswamy Temple : The temple was built in 947AD and is adorned with beautiful sculptures and carvings.

Shiva Temple : The temple is located in Ernakulam district of Kerala, opposite the backwaters.

Other attractions of Kochi are : Fort Kochi, Bolgatty Palace, Chinese Fishing Nets, Dutch Palace and Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha.

We will leave for Guruvayur at night and have our overnight stay in an Ayurvedic resort there.

Day 02: Guruvayur-Alleppey

We will see following attractions of Guruvayur this day:

Guruvayur Sri Krishna Temple : The revered temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and is known for its beautiful architecture.

Chowalloor Shiva Temple : The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is located 3 km off Guruvayur temple.

Nava Mukunda Temple : The temple is dedicated to Nava Mukunda, a form of Lord Vishnu and is located on the shores of Bharathapuzha.

Chamundeswari Temple : The temple is just 9 km from Trivandrum and is also known as Thozhuvancode Shree Chamundi Devi Temple.

Other attractions of Guruvayur are : Parthasarthy Temple, Kaladi, Harikanyaka Temple and Mammiyur Mahadevan Temple.

We will drive to Alleppey at night and have our overnight stay in an Ayurveda resort there.

Day 03: Alleppey-Kumarakom

We will see the following destinations of Alleppey on the third day of our Kerala Ayurveda Temple Tour.

Alleppey Beach : The beautiful beach is good to enjoy water sports, sea swimming and sun bathing.

Ayurvedic Massage Center : There are good Ayurvedic massage centers close to Alleppey beach where you can enjoy the magical touch of Ayurvedic massage and herbs on your body and mind.

Ambalapuzha Shree Krishna Temple : The beautiful temple was built in 7th century by Chempakasheri ruler Sri Devanarayan. It is famous for its tasty Palpayasam milk porridge offerings.

Vembanad Lake : The favorite picnic spot of tourists has good facilities for boating.

Other attractions of Alleppey are : Mullakkal Rajeshwari Temple, Chettikulangara Bhagavathy Temple, Kayamkulam Lake and Krishnapuram Palace. We will drive to Kumarakom at night and have our overnight stay in an Ayurvedic resort there.

Day 04: Kumarakom

We will see the following attractions of Kumarakom this day:

Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary : This bird watcher’s paradise will amaze you with its rich varieties of colorful birds, plants and animal species.

Kumarakom Beach : You can enjoy strolling, sunbathing and other activities on this lovely beach.

Vaikom Mahadeva Temple : The temple is dedicated to Rishi Parasurama, an incarnation of Lord Shiva.

Thirunakkara Mahadeva Temple : The ancient temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Overnight stay will be on board the houseboat in Kumarakom backwaters.

Day 05: Kumarakom-Alleppey (Houseboat)

We will do the following activities on the fifth day of our Kerala Ayurveda Temple Tour:

Houseboat cruise in Kumarakom backwaters : The beautiful Kumarakom has good houseboat facilities for backwaters cruise.

Pathiramanal : The land of midnight sand has an aquarium and a zoo.

Ayuredic Therapies : There are several Ayurvedic centers at tourist destinations in Kumarakom, Alleppey and other parts of Kerala where you can have the benefits of traditional Ayurvedic therapies.

Alleppey Backwaters Houseboat : The beautiful Alleppey backwaters are world famous for their grand water carnivals and snake boat races.

Overnight stay will be in an Ayurvedic resort at Alleppey.

Day 06: Alleppey-Kochi -Departure

This will be the last day of your Kerala Ayurveda Temple Tour. You will be served traditional Ayurvedic breakfast in your resort. Thereafter, our executives will come to pick you up and you will be driven to the Kochi International Airport from where you can board in the flight way back to your home.
